Filler Word Counter
Paste a transcript — from a podcast, a talk, or a voice note you had transcribed — and see exactly which filler words you lean on, and how often.
What counts as a filler here
This tool matches the same tiered filler list used by the NoiseZero app: unambiguous fillers like “um,” “uh,” and “er,” plus context-dependent words like “like,” “so,” and “actually” that are sometimes filler and sometimes not.
This counts text, not audio, so it's a good gut-check on a script or a rough transcript. To actually cut fillers out of a recording — with the context checks that stop it from removing a word that changes your meaning — use the app, or try the free silence remover for the pause-cutting half of the job.
